 Pastor Ben GibertBishop Ben Gibert is the passionate,
powerful and personable Senior Pastor
of Detroit World Outreach. He became
Senior Pastor in June of 2005, fulfilling the
“Father to Son” succession plan of our late
Pastor, Bishop Jack C. Wallace.
Bishop Ben has a rich and varied
background in business as well as ministry:

the automotive industry, he has held top
positions with General Motors, Ford, and
finally, Daimler Chrysler. |
He is renown as
one of a select few that have experience in
Automotive Manufacturing, Marketing, and Product Development. Bishop Gibert holds a B.A. in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute, M.A. Science, and M.B.A. from Stanford University . He has 25 years of experience in the auto industry; and is one of only a handful of people in the world who have held top leadership positions in Automotive Manufacturing, Marketing, and Product Development for all of the big three.
But Bishop Ben is much more than just an
executive...
To many, he is known as “The Accelerator” — the anointing on his life accelerates destiny fulfillment and manifestation of the plan of God in the lives of those that receive it. To others, he is a confident, coaching,
spiritual father — determined that he just won’t let you give up until you reach your destiny. Bishop Ben is passionate about teaching and modeling biblical principles in the areas of career, finances, personal relationships and marital success. He has spent much of his life (and his more than 25 years in ministry) discovering those key principles that allow believers to move along on the course of divine destiny.

Bishop Ben’s dedication to a total worship experience ignites a desire for deeper walk with the Lord and promotes consistent growth in Christian maturity. His sons in the Lord, Pastor Matt Beebe and Minister Johnny Humes, have built a praise and worship experience around Bishop Ben and Dr. Charisse’s teachings that is being heard across the nation.
Under Bishop Ben’s leadership, the people of DWO have risen to new levels of discipleship, personal growth and realization of the manifested promises of God. With a current membership of over 3500 and still growing steadily, DWO has more than doubled in the last two years, and over 100 each month are making decisions for Christ.
Bishop Ben and his wife, Co-Pastor Dr.Charisse, have been married for 15 years, producing four wonderful children and countless spiritual sons and daughters. They credit much of their success to the teaching and mentoring of their spiritual parents, the late Bishop Jack C. Wallace, Bishop I.V. & Dr. Bridget Hilliard of Houston, TX.
