Women of Virtue is founded by Pastor Charisse Gibert
Women of Virtue Mission Statement
To see women in the body of Christ have undeniable manifestation of Peace, Purpose, Divine Order, and Kingdom Power through a visible lifestyle display of diligence, strength, dignity and excellence. To build a nationwide network of Women’s Discipleship ministries building Godly character, relationships, families, local churches. To effectively win over the unbeliever through life changing media, citywide and national events, and through a powerful demonstration of unity amongst sisters in the Lord.
12 Principles of Women of Virtue:
- To build enduring Christian families by being examples of Love, Submitted service, Godly character, Purpose, and Diligence
- To be a Driving Force behind the Seven Distinctives of Detroit World Outreach
- Driven by the Purposes of Christ
- to seek and save those who are lost
- to destroy the works of the devil
- to live the abundant life
- to make known the manifold Wisdom of Christ to all
- Development of the Individual
- Destiny Development
- Development of the Family
- Diversity of All Peoples. (A Church for all Colors)
- Dynamic Church (Contemporary and Accelerating)
- Divine Power
- To build multiracial/cross socioeconomic relationships, such that we model the Unity that God desires in the Body of Christ
- To Operate in the Wisdom of God, such that we are recognized as wise women; not silly women
- To learn from others and each other such that we can inherit all of the Promises of God
- To be visible, inspiring Super models of service to the vision, leadership, and youth of DWO
- To be knowledgeable of the Word of God, such that we can live our daily lives based on its principles and not the opinions of the world
- To be Women of relentless Faith, systematically pursuing the Promises of God
- To be Women of such Christ-like Character, Relationship, and Dignity, that others will want to know what manner of women we are
- To walk in the Spirit, and have a determination to stay in the Spirit, such that we will not fulfill the desires/lusts of the flesh and maintain a level of supernatural self-control
- To earn the attention and respect of the world through our Godly character; Love, Strength, and Excellence --- such that Women come to repentance
